Two kinds of sheets
Word list sheets pick random words from any topic or grade list and print the right number of blanks for each one. An answer key prints at the bottom, so fold it under or cut it off before you hand the sheet out. Press New words to shuffle until you like the mix.
Blank templates have a gallows, an alphabet and a line for the word. Students pair up: one writes a secret word on a scrap of paper, draws the blanks, and the partner guesses. It is the old notebook game, just neater.
Printing tips
Press Print and your browser will print only the sheet, not the menus. Six puzzles fit well on one letter-size or A4 page. Choose twelve to save paper, or four for younger kids who write big. Turn on "Background graphics" in the print settings if lines look faint.
